Randall High School

• Beginner Theatre - Gain a basic knowledge and understanding of many aspects in theatre.
• Intermediate Theatre - Focuses primarily on basic acting skills to prepare students for high level theatre classes.
• Advanced Theatre - Focuses on implementing basic acting skills and growing those skills. This class performs two shows a year and competes in the JV One Act Play competition. Students must audition to be able to take this class. 
• Productions - This is the Varsity level class.  These students design, perform, and work the technical elements for the Fall Mainstage Show and/or Musical.  During the spring semester, they compete with One Act Play all over the state. This class is by audition only. 
• Technical Theatre - Focuses on constructing, painting, and finishing sets and props for the mainstage performances during the year.  They also learn to focus lights and run the lighting system.
• Technical Design Theatre -  This class is designed for students who want to learn how to design sets, hair and makeup, costumes, and marketing.  The work these students do is entered in the UIL Theatrical Design competition where they can compete for Gold at the State Level.
