Free ACT For Juniors

ACT @ C.I.S.D for Free!

On Tuesday, February 25th, Juniors will be taking the ACT during the school day. No registration will be required for this test – every junior is signed up automatically.

The ACT is a national college admissions exam accepted by all 4-year universities in the US. Either the ACT or SAT is required to attend 4-yr schools as a freshman, plus many scholarships consider ACT scores. The test covers English, Math, Reading, and Science and will be done in time for a late lunch.

For more information about the ACT see (Note that some larger universities require the ACT with writing which our test will not have). See test prep resources below.

Notice for students receiving 504 or special education services:

Does your student regularly have testing accommodations? Is your student planning on attending a 4-year university like WT after high school? If so, we can request that ACT provide testing accommodations for your student. Some things to consider:

  • All testing accommodations must be approved by ACT. We cannot guarantee that any accommodation will be approved.
  • Extended time accommodations may make this test take 3-5 days to complete.

Please contact Angela Hochstein, testing coordinator, at 677-2310 or by 12/16/19 to request accommodations.
